Infant massage is an age-old tradition dating back to the beginning of time and used across the world and throughout various cultures. It is a beautiful way for a caregiver to bond with their baby while improving the health and well-being of their baby through loving touch. As a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) my goal is to spread knowledge on infant massage by training families on the strokes, techniques, and benefits of infant massage. The goal is for caregivers to walk away from the sessions with a skill that can provide love, healing, bonding and attachment with their baby from the start and last a lifetime! Infant massage can help decrease sinus pressure, congestion, GI cramping and pain, constipation, and newborn tension. It can help improve sleep, the suck-swallow reflex for feeding, circulation, muscle relaxation, and sensory integration. AND SO MUCH MORE!!
Perfect for Caregivers with infants 0-12 months old.
Please bring a blanket/towel, pillow, your baby, and small amount of the oil of your choosing (natural, unscented, and edible such as sunflower oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, sesame oil etc.)
Training sessions are every Wednesday morning from 10-11AM, from February 25-March 25. Each individual session is part of a 5 part series building upon each other to learn the whole body.
Missed an earlier session? It is still ok to jump in late! We can discuss make-ups throughout the series as needed.
Note: CEIM will not massage the baby, the goal of the session is to teach the caregiver to massage their baby and foster their connection.
Don’t wait: Space is limited, so join other caregivers in the community navigating early life with a baby and sign up today!
