Formal Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy initial evaluation: $155. This is a one-on-one, hour long session taking place in the baby’s home with a skilled pediatric physical therapist with over 13 years of experience. Session includes a full hands-on evaluation with measurements, movement observations, postural evaluations, and age appropriate developmental assessments. Therapist will work together with the family to create an individualized plan of care including family oriented goals. Caregiver education is integrated throughout the visit. The session will include the initiation of a home exercise program with skills and activities for the family to complete between sessions.

Physical Therapy follow up visit: $125. This is a one-on-one, hour long session taking place in the baby’s home with a skilled pediatric physical therapist with over 13 years of experience. This is a follow up session after the completion of the physical therapy initial evaluation. The session is fully hands on and individualized. The session may include therapeutic exercise and activities, manual therapy, infant massage, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, and more. During sessions we will actively work with the family to advance the home program and caregiver education and make sure we are on track to achieve the baby’s goals. Continued work on the home program between sessions is optimal for success.

Wellness:

Wellness consult: $95. This is a one-on-one, 45-60 minute session taking place in the baby’s home with a skilled pediatric physical therapist with over 13 years experience. The session focuses on observations of the infants movements and preferred postures, along with discussions with the caregiver on noted strengths and weakness for the infant. Each session will include a home evaluation and education on proper set up to allow baby to achieve balanced movements, opportunities to use both sides of the body, and promote bilateral head positioning. We will review proper positioning, tummy time tips, and movement activities to set the baby and family up for success. Caregiver education will be incorporated throughout the session. This wellness consult is not a formal physical therapy session and does not replace a formal physical therapy evaluation if one has been recommended.

Infant Massage Caregiver Training: Full Body/Multiple sessions $200, Single session/targeted area $75. Pricing is based on one-on-one session(s) completed in the comfort of the infant’s home with an infant massage trained pediatric physical therapist. The clinician’s training was completed through Infant Massage USA. The clinician will not physically massage the baby, but instead teach the caregiver/family how to effectively massage their infant and carry this skill over into their normal routine. Demonstrations and handouts will be provided for reference. Virtual options are available in certain states, please call to confirm if you are out of the KS/MO region. These training sessions are not formal physical therapy sessions and do not replace a formal physical therapy evaluation if one has been recommended.
