Meet your Physical Therapist
Erika Moss, PT, DPT, CFo
Erika graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2012 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has since spent over 10 years in the field of pediatrics serving infants, children and their families in Colorado, Texas, Missouri and Kansas! Throughout the years she has helped countless infants and families as they together achieve developmental milestones and find balance in the baby’s muscles and tone during infancy and beyond. Erika believes maintaining a sense of collaboration with the family and caregivers throughout therapy services is essential to the achievement of the baby’s monumental first year. Erika has always been a strong believer in “knowledge is power”. This belief was solidified after years of experience working for one of the leading infant helmet companies and seeing first hand how important education is for our parents and caregivers. If we can equip these families with the proper tummy time and developmental education from the start, we can see a change in our infants, children, and community.
Personal Story
It all began in childhood. Erika grew up in a large family and has served children throughout her life. Prior to completing her Physical Therapy doctorate, she served in the Children’s Ministry of her church alongside her mother and worked as a nanny. She is married with 2 daughters, and continues to build roots in the Kansas City Metro. Her personal experience as a mother led her to create this company and fulfill her mission of spreading developmental education; empowering families to be successful from the start. Both of her daughters were positioned breech in utero, both diagnosed with hip dysplagia, and both battled through torticollis in infancy. One was born premature and one spent time in the NICU. She has walked in similar shoes and felt the roller coaster of emotions in parenthood. She is ready to help guide her patients through their first year and beyond with understanding and care.
