The Rolling Start: Foundational Movement Class for Pre-Rolling Infants (0-5 months)

"The Rolling Start" is the essential, foundational class in an infant's early physical development, full of movement and skills leading up to the rolling milestone. (3 offerings of the same class: June 12, July 10, August 7)

WHO: This class is designed for the pre-rolling baby, age 0–5 months and their caregivers.

CLASS GOAL: This class is led by a Pediatric Physical Therapist covering developmental milestones, guided tips, and play activities for infants from birth up to the point of rolling.

CLASS FOCUS: The class framework focuses on laying the groundwork for rolling and total body awareness, including:

• Body Positioning: Starting with supine play and side lying play

• Core Activities: Instructing on various Tummy Time positions and techniques.

• Gentle Movements: Utilizing gentle movements to prepare the baby's body before milestone practice and incorporate body awareness. 

• Rotational Focus: Teaching caregivers to look for rotational preferences or tension.

• Visual Skills: Incorporating activities like tracking objects.

COST: This class is FREE, but sign up is REQUIRED.
